Victoria joy center was born in January 2018, as a result of God’s inspiration to his servants Filder Atieno and Isaiah Onyango Gudah. We are based at Angorom-Ward, Teso Sub-County and Teso South Constituency, Busia County.
It is a registered organization, under Registration Act no. 30 of 2022. Victoria Joy Child Rescue Centre is a non-political charitable organization. Based on the challenges faced by orphans, vulnerable, street children such as lack of food, clothing, shelter and education, we thought it wise to start this center, and through inspiration. The Centre depends entirely on the support from well-wishers and funding from the government if it may arise. We are covered by a motto, vision, mission and objectives.

Love is the foundation of our work. It transcends boundaries, offering warmth and hope to every child in our care. In this realm, every action is motivated by love, ensuring that our children feel valued, understood, and nurtured as they navigate their journey toward a brighter future.
Compassion drives us to act, to step into the shoes of those we serve. It is the force that compels us to look beyond ourselves and extend a hand to those in need. Through compassion, we build bridges, connecting hearts and fostering a sense of belonging among the children and communities we serve.
Charity is the tangible expression of our love and compassion. It manifests in the care, support, and resources we provide, aiming to uplift and empower. Through acts of charity, we not only address immediate needs but also invest in the future of our children, laying the groundwork for a world where they can prosper and make meaningful contributions.
Each of these elements — Love, Compassion, and Charity — interweave to form the fabric of our organization, guiding our efforts to nurture a generation that is not only self-reliant but also deeply committed to making the world a better place.
